In these financially difficult times for education, I am excited to let you know that [school or district] has partnered with edRover to bring much needed funds to our school.

What is edRover?

edRover is a mobile application that allows consumers to collect donations from participating businesses and direct them to the school of their choice. At a time when schools at all levels are in need of financial support, this is an easy way for concerned parents and community members to make an impact.

How does it work?

The edRover app integrates the GPS capability of the mobile device to pinpoint the user's location. Each time a person visits a participating place of business, they select the "check-in" button for that business using the edRover app on their iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Windows Phone. Every "check-in" results in a predetermined donation from the business to be automatically credited to the account of the school designated by the consumer. It's that simple.
